Last night Jake took time to reorganize his tools and supplies. He also cleaned up the area in preparation for dry-walling. We spent a good chunk of the evening planning out the next two weeks and making sure we have all of the necessary supplies.
I continued to wipe wallpaper glue off of the walls in the places that will be visible in the kitchen. This project should be complete by the end of the night tonight!
Jake tore out the back splash that was above the counters, one of the upper cabinets, and the "L" section of the counter. These needed to be removed in order to properly drywall the new area. He also started some of the electrical work which includes updating outlets to GFCI, moving switches, and adding a few additional outlets.
